“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

About Me

I’m Kylie Meyer (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, teen therapist, and parent coach based in Pennsylvania. I work mostly with teens who experience big emotions, anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, and with parents who are doing their best to support them when things feel intense or confusing at home.

At the heart of my work is helping people slow things down and make sense of what’s happening emotionally. I use DBT and EMDR in a practical, down-to-earth way. DBT helps build real skills for managing emotions and reactions day to day. EMDR helps work through experiences that still show up in the body and mind, even when you logically know you are safe now.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I don’t believe anyone is broken or needs fixing. I’m interested in understanding patterns, what’s getting in the way, and what helps things feel more manageable. Together, we work on responding differently when emotions show up as shutdowns, conflict, outbursts, or feeling constantly overwhelmed.

I offer individual therapy for teens and parent coaching for caregivers navigating emotional intensity at home. This work can be hard at times, but it is also very practical. My goal is always to help therapy translate into real life, with tools and support that make day-to-day moments feel a little steadier and less overwhelming.

I provide virtual therapy for teens and parents across Pennsylvania, including families in Malvern, Wayne, Paoli, and surrounding Main Line communities.
